About Leonie Bell

Leonie Bell

Leonie Bell has a love of the natural world. Leonie grew up in the coastal bush country, owned horses for many years, and lived on orchard farms in the rich Hawkesbury area. Cattle horses and birds are an especial interest but the rich biology of life colour and light is an abiding interest. Another art interest revolves around the Australian Light Horse. Leonie is mostly self taught, but has drawn for most of her life. A wide range of mediums (pen & ink, pastel, acrylic & watercolour) allows Leonie to fully express her view of the natural world she feels at home with.
